I recently had a closet organizing disaster. One entire shelf came tumbling down leaving a mess of clothing all over my closet floor. I had to wait until until everything was repaired, so I had to leave everything on the floor. After a couple of days of drying putty, it was time to load back up again. I did and guess what? It fell down a second time!
And this is what I discovered. While I had round two heaped up on the floor, I just kept adding to the mess by piling on my dresser too. It was almost like once I had a mess, I didn’t take the time to keep the rest organized. It made me realize how fast things can get out of control for people. No wonder they get overwhelmed and don’t know where to start! I found it so frustrating to not be able to find the belt or the necklace I wanted to wear instantly like I normally would. It proved to me just how great it feels to be organized.
So don’t let things spiral out of control whether it be closet organizing or some other area of your home!
