Organizing Kid’s Art: Hang It Up!

Organized Kid's Art Projects

Organized Kid's Art Projects

If you’ve got kids, you’ve got art-lots and lots of art!  What do you do with all of those ‘precious’ projects?  You can’t possibly keep them all.  Please don’t keep them all.  How do you stay on top of home organization and still show your kids that you care about their keepsakes? Well, today, I’d like to have you think about using your wall space.  Each child should be able to make decisions on what is particularly special to them and have space for it.  Using wall space allows for a wonderful big display area.  This particular display is thanks to an Ikea curtain hanger.  It’s a wire that attaches to the wall with little clips, clips that are perfect for holding pieces of art , awards and ribbons. You can also use heavy ribbon with clothes pins.

This gives kids a way to display what’s important to them.  It also teaches kids a lesson that at some point they have to make decisions about taking something down to make room for something new.  A great lesson to learn at a young age!  Use that available wall space to create a keepsake wall!
