Whether you’ve got to much paper or too much stuff, clutter can get us down in a bad way!  When I help people get organized, it is often life-changing, and that is really exciting!  Our stuff can actually cause a lot of negative emotions and a lot of negative consequences.  Let me present a list of some of the many consequences clutter can bring on:

  1. Stress
  2. Feeling overwhelmed and unable to start the organizing process
  3. Embarrassed to have people in your home
  4. Running late
  5. Losing things
  6. Wasting money purchasing replacements or duplicates
  7. No space for the activities you love
  8. Unable to use packed rooms
  9. Family discord
  10. Guilt
  11. Anger
  12. Physical hazards
  13. Trouble thinking clearly to work in the space

I’m sure there are so many more possible emotions and consequences when surrounded by clutter, but you get the picture.  Letting some things go and just keeping the things that you truly love in your space, truly can lift a huge weight from your shoulders.  It really is worth the time, energy and effort to jump in and get organized!

If tackling your home or office is just too overwhelming on your own, get help from a good friend, family member or a professional organizer in your area.  That’s what we do, we help people get organized and we love it!
