What do I do to keep items from cluttering my house? I keep a donation bag ready at all times! Under my table in my home office I keep a plastic tub lined with a large garbage bag ready to accept items as we come across them. There are things I come across all the time that need to leave the house. They may be small items like a book or fingernail polish or they may come from a bigger closet clean-out like outgrown clothes from one of my kids.
The great thing is we can do little clean-outs here and there around our house, it doesn’t have to be a huge project. It can just be going through one drawer in the bathroom when the mood strikes. But keeping this up on a regular basis keeps us passing things on to others and keeps our house clutter-free!
